So you manage to get a whole month off work and plan to visit Australia. Great! But even for a whole month Australia is one big country to cover. So what should you visit? You don't want to miss out on the best of a country! Should you start in the South of the country and then get Adelaide to Sydney flights ?. Or start in the west and maybe make Perth your first destination?
The actual way you do it does not matter as much as the places that you should really take the time to visit. Obviously Sydney is a no-brainer and you cannot come all this way without seeing this vibrant and iconic city. While you are there make sure that you take a few days on the great beaches in the area and if you have time visit the vineyards of the Hunter Valley.
Another real taste of Australia has to be the outback, so you should try to do one week around the Red Centre, taking in Alice Springs and Ayer's Rock. Make sure that you plan this part carefully as the land and climate is very unforgiving.
South West Australia is well worth a visit too, so a trip to Perth is recommended. The area is blessed with some excellent beaches and some high end beach resorts. Also for beach lovers is the Great Barrier Reef in the North East of the country which offers some incredible diving and underwater scenery.
