The Final Destination

Exploring Beyond Sydney

Due to being literally on the other side of the world, in the past for most people the thought of a holiday in Australia was purely a dream.

In more recent times, however, due to the availability of more affordable and regular flights 'Down Under', this dream can now be a reality for many adventurous travellers. It is feasible to board a flight from the UK one day, only to be enjoying the view from your comfortable room in a luxury hotel Sydney the very next.

Of course, there is so much more to this vast country than Sydney. Perhaps the most popular destinations for many travellers to Australia are the unique and naturally occurring phenomena of the Great Barrier Reef and Uluru (Ayers Rock).

Exploring the vast outback on their own steam or on organised tours is a great draw for the more adventurous travellers. In contrast, city lovers will find a wealth of cultural and historic places of interest to visit, as well as excellent shopping, in the cosmopolitan cities such as Melbourne, Brisbane and of course Sydney.

Visitors often underestimate the vast distances involved when travelling from one major point of interest in this enormous country to another. As flying is the only practical mode of transport, even the smallest and remotest of towns in Australia are well served by regular flights, allowing travellers to criss-cross the remote outback and deserts with ease and in relative comfort.
